B. Braun Thailand collaborates with the Enterostomal Therapy Nurse Association through establishing the Wound Ostomy and Continence Learning Center supported by Aesculap Academy

Bangkok, Thailand – December 22, 2023 - B. Braun (Thailand) Ltd., one of the world’s leading medical technology companies headquartered in Germany, has officially opened the Wound Ostomy and Continence Learning Center in Pathum Thani Province, Thailand, with the support of  Aesculap Academy, in association with Enterostomal Therapy Nurse Association. The inauguration of the center was led by Dr. Yuwadee Kestsumpun, President of the Enterostomal Therapy Nurse Association and Mr. Sayan Roy, Managing Director of B. Braun (Thailand) Ltd.

The primary focus of this project is to bolster professional capacity in the field of wound and stoma care, to improve the quality of life for patients. By offering hands-on training programs, this initiative aims to empower nurses with the knowledge and skills needed to provide comprehensive care to chronic patients. This initiative underscores B. Braun's steadfast commitment to Sharing Expertise through Aesculap Academy, our renowned medical education arm dedicated to enhancing the competencies of healthcare professionals. 

This pioneering center represents a significant milestone in education and training specifically tailored for wound and ostomy care. It stands as a testament to the commitment to empower healthcare professionals by equipping them with the expertise to provide exceptional care for patients facing wounds, ostomies and associated challenges. During the center’s inauguration, Dr. Yuwadee Kestsumpun led an engaging hybrid training session for the attending nurses. Her inspiring leadership sets the stage for a future marked by impactful learning integrated with applied technology.
