B. Braun Thailand Honors Asalha Bucha Day & Buddhist Lent Day with Merit-Making and Livestock Redemption

In celebration of Asalha Bucha Day and Buddhist Lent Day, B. Braun Thailand’s CSR Club organized a meaningful merit-making initiative that blended cultural tradition with community support. The club members offered Lent candles and necessities offerings to the monk at Soparam Temple, Pathum Thani as well as joining the redemption of cattle and buffaloes at the municipal abattoir in Pathum Thani.

Through collective fundraising by the club members, a total of four lives, two buffaloes and two cattle, were successfully redeemed. The redeemed buffaloes and cattle will be given to the “Royal Cattle and Buffalo Bank for Farmers Project,” a royal initiative that supports Thai farmers by providing them with livestock to aid in agricultural work. 

This initiative not only save lives but also empowered local agriculture. Under the project, local farmers are entrusted with the care of the animals throughout the contract period, promoting sustainable farming practices and community resilience.

At B. Braun Thailand, we are proud to uphold and celebrate local traditions while fostering a culture of empathy and social responsibility within our organization.

บี. บราวน์ ประเทศไทย นำโดย CSR Club และ Diversity Club ร่วมทำบุญถวายเทียนพรรษาและสังฆทานแด่พระสงฆ์ ณ วัดโสภาราม จังหวัดปทุมธานี รวมถึงไถ่ชีวิตโคกระบือ ณ โรงฆ่าสัตว์ เทศบาลเมืองปทุมธานี เนื่องในวันอาสาฬหบูชาและเข้าพรรษา

โดยพนักงาน บี. บราวน์ ประเทศไทย ร่วมสมทบทุนในการ ไถ่ชีวิตกระบือ 2 ตัวและโค 2 ตัว รวมทั้งหมด 4 ตัว เพื่อส่งมอบให้แก่โครงการธนาคารโค-กระบือ ตามพระราชดำริฯ 

กิจกรรมดังกล่าว นอกจากจะเป็นการไถ่ชีวิตโคกระบือแล้ว ยังร่วมส่งเสริมเกษตรกรไทยให้มีโคกระบือไว้ช่วยทำการเกษตร พร้อมองค์ความรู้ในการดูแล โดยเกษตกรผู้ร่วมโครงการฯ ต้องดูแลโคหรือกระบือที่ได้รับอย่างดีตลอดระยะเวลาตามสัญญากันโครงการ บี. บราวน์ ประเทศไทย ให้ความสำคัญในการสานต่อวัฒนธรรมและประเพณีอันดีงามของไทย พร้อมส่งเสริมการแบ่งปันและความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมในองค์กรของเรา
