Fostering Good Well-being during Mental Health Awareness Month

B. Braun Thailand prioritizes employee mental and physical well-being with continue year-round support. We fostered an open feedback culture with activities during the Mental Health Awareness Month in May.

May, being Mental Health Awareness Month, underscores B. Braun Thailand's unwavering commitment to employee health and well-being. Because we believe that great physical health goes hand-in-hand with strong mental health, and we are dedicated to cultivating a workplace that actively supports both.

To foster a culture of open feedback and encourage emotional expression, we invited employees to participate in our Emotion Tracking Board throughout May. This initiative provided a valuable opportunity for self-reflection on mood, emphasizing the crucial step of acknowledging emotions for effective management. Employees also shared their favorite relaxing activities and peaceful places, contributing to a collective resource for de-stressing.

Beyond May, B. Braun maintains its year-round dedication to mental well-being. Recognizing the potential psychological impact of events like the recent earthquake centered in Myanmar, we promptly extended support beyond immediate physical safety measures. We recently hosted an insightful online internal session, "Health Talk: After the Shake," focusing on the psychological impact of trauma and introducing valuable tools like Psychological First Aid (PFA). 

Led by professional psychologists from Peace Please, a studio specializing in psychology and wellness workshops, the session offered practical tips and tricks for managing stress and promoting mental well-being. This initiative served as an important opportunity for our employees to conduct personal mental health check-ins and gain valuable knowledge. Underscoring our ongoing commitment to fostering a supportive and mentally healthy workplace for our employees.
