B. Braun (Thailand) Ltd. has signed an MOU with Bangkok Christian Hospital to collaborate on enhancing surgical asset management through the Aesculap SAM Solution to enhance surgical asset management in a sustainable and future-ready way.

Bangkok, Thailand – 27 April 2026 B. Braun (Thailand) Ltd., a leading global medical technology company from Germany, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Bangkok Christian Hospital to collaborate on “Safe and Efficiency Surgical Asset Management via Aesculap SAM Solution.” This collaboration marks a strategic partnership aimed at systematically elevating the quality of healthcare delivery through improved utilization of surgical assets.
The partnership seeks to integrate hospital management efficiency with patient safety through excellence in surgical instrument management, ensuring precision, transparency, and compliance with international standards. This approach enables healthcare professionals to dedicate their time and focus fully on patient care with three key strategic objectives:
1. Operational Excellence: Optimizing resource utilization to enhance workflow efficiency in surgical processes, while reducing preparation time and associated costs.
2. Risk Mitigation: Strengthening safety standards and best practices to protect both patients and the hospital’s reputation.
3. Resource Efficiency: Preserving and maximizing the value of high‑cost medical assets to ensure optimal utilization.
Under the framework of this collaboration, B. Braun Thailand will deploy experts in surgical instrument manufacturing and inspection from Aesculap, B. Braun’s global center of excellence for surgical instruments. These specialists will conduct comprehensive inspections, collect data, and provide recommendations on surgical asset management, enabling the hospital to further enhance its surgical preparation processes and operational effectiveness.
With Bangkok Christian Hospital’s strong standards in healthcare service and management, this partnership represents a significant step toward establishing new benchmarks in surgical instrument management. It also contributes to advancing medical innovation and improving long‑term patient care outcomes through shared expertise and collaboration.
